This study aims to analyze the relationship between AI literacy and green economy orientation on students’ intention to establish green-based startups. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 55 Industrial Engineering students. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after passing validity, reliability, normality, and multicollinearity tests. The results indicate that AI literacy and green economy orientation simultaneously have a significant relationship with students’ intention to establish green-based startups (F = 211.528; p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.891. Partially, AI literacy shows a positive and significant relationship with startup intention (β = 0.680; p < 0.001), while green economy orientation also demonstrates a positive and significant relationship (β = 0.314; p < 0.001). These findings suggest that AI literacy plays a more dominant role than green economy orientation in shaping students’ entrepreneurial intentions, although sustainability orientation remains an important contributing factor. This study implies that entrepreneurship development in higher education should not only emphasize technological literacy but also strengthen sustainability values and awareness. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for designing entrepreneurship curricula and programs integrated with green economy principles.
